Our Story: More Than Just a Tour Company

Hello, my name is Izzy, and I am the proud owner of Easy Taxi & Tours here in Grenada.

My journey to Grenada was not one I could have planned – it was one I was meant to take. Originally from the UK, I left home at just 16 years old and found myself travelling to Grenada through a mutual friend from school. I ended up getting work on yachts through the Caribbean and South America, and discovering the beauty, cultures, and communities of this incredible part of the world.

Eventually, after 4 years at sea, I started to really miss Grenada; the warmth of the people, the breathtaking landscapes, the rich history, and the deep connection between the land and its traditions captured my heart. After years of exploring the Caribbean, I realised that Grenada was where I truly belonged.

I returned to the island, built my life here, and eventually met my husband, Antonio. Today, I am a proud mother of two, a small business owner managing our apartment rentals and Airbnb, and the founder of Easy Taxi & Tours; a company created from my passion for sharing the place I now call home.

But for me, Easy Taxi & Tours has always been about much more than simply showing visitors around Grenada. It is about creating meaningful connections, sharing our stories, and helping people experience the true heart of our island.

I have a deep passion for protecting Grenada’s natural beauty, heritage, traditions, and history. Our old buildings, historic landmarks, cultural practices, beaches, forests, and hidden treasures tell the story of who we are – and I believe it is our responsibility to preserve them for future generations.
